Spring Cleaning, Writing Pals, and Making Time

First, my apologies for posting this late. I didn't realize my kids had today off of school (that will teach me to step away from the computer and glance at their school calendar once in a while) and I have a lot to get done in preparation for Easter dinner--I was somehow swindled *gg* into hosting this year. :)

It took me a while to come up with something to blog about this month. Oh I had many ideas and any of them would have done just fine, but then I got to thinking about spring--and it's a beautiful spring day even here in Minne-snow-ta--and just writing in general. So that's what I wrote about. LOL

To me, Spring cleaning can be many things. Oh there's the whole cleaning the house, and I'm doing that...reluctantly. ;-) I won't share the horrors of what I found when I pulled the fridge and stove out. *shudder*

Aside from the obvious, this is the time I find I get organized and more on the ball with a writing routine. Every year. I don't know if it's the sun shining/longer days, the fact I'm not freezing my tush off 24/7 or what, but my writing really takes off in the spring.

I've gone through all my idea folders on my laptop and have a plan in motion for the spring and summer months. I've gotten more words written in the last two weeks than I had in the previous two months. A lot of that had to do with going and visiting my friend, Gwen Cease. No body kicks my butt into gear like Gwen.

It really drives home the importance of having like-minded people around you. Oh, my husband is extremely supportive (as is much of my family), but he doesn't 'get' it when I am having trouble with a uncooperative character or when I'm just completely stuck on where to go with a particular story. Gwen is someone I can call and whine to LOL or brainstorm with. And I'm here to do the same for her--kick her in the tush whenever needed.

We both have busy lives--Gwen's a elementary teacher (and most of you know that's a more than full time job), I'm a mom of four who has a day job. We've often talked about how little time we have for writing and have often reminded each other that we don't MAKE time for writing. Even though it's awfully tempting to veg out in front of the TV after working all day, that time would be better spent writing. That's not to say vegging out shouldn't happen once in a while. I think it's good for the soul. ;-) It's just something I don't need to be doing every week night, no matter how tired I am. So I've made a deal with myself. Every night I sit down to write--no excuses. I have to write for one hour. If after an hour, I don't want to continue, I stop. Nine times out of ten, though, I don't even notice when the hour mark has passed. I'm too into the story and characters.

So, how about you? Do you find Spring to have an effect on you and things in your life? Do you have that friend/pal who understands you better than anyone and who will push you farther than you'd push yourself?

Thanks for taking the time to read. :) I wish everyone a great weekend, and for those who celebrate, Happy Easter!

Best,
Jess

Some of the most common causes behind ED are physical in origin, but many ED cases have been reffered due to psychological abnormalities too. The best way to get rid of ED is to learn about the disease and then buy viagra or related medicine as per your prescription

I so thoroughly agree, Jess! Having fellow writers to encourage and needle you is incredibly important. Family and ordinary friends are great, but only another writer can understand what it means to sit down and be a channel for your characters.

Warmly,
Lisabet

I decided to buy viagra as sexual dysfunction treatment last month. Now I can see the change. And now my wife wants a sweet moon again at the beach and Florida is not a bad idea.

Levitra is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor. This medication is used to help men with erectile dysfunction to have an erection. The result is achieved by relaxing muscles and helping the blood flow into the penis. The medication is not a protection against sexually transmitted diseases.

Generic Viagra is the medicine that is recommended by doctors worldwide for erectile dysfunction. It is the chemical composition of both forms of this drug and helps to cause erection on stimulation of the penis by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 which causes smooth muscle relaxation and a better erection.

Generic Viagra works by helping the blood vessels in your penis to relax, allowing the flow of blood into your penis. The result of this is improved erectile function. Generic Propecia is a medication used for the treatment of prostate cancer and pattern baldness in men. It is the main ingredient in two drugs – Proscar for prostate cancer and Propecia for pattern baldness. Viagra has been clinically shown to improve erectile function even in men who had diabetes or prostate surgery. The pill contains this component that helps increase blood flow to the penis and may help men with ED get and keep an erection satisfactory for sexual activity.
