I'm on the Naughty List...Are You?

It's official. I've made the naughty list. I should be upset. Everyone wants to be on the good list and have a visit from Santa. Funny, I think I kinda like being on the naughty list.

You might wonder how I got there. I've had a very good year. After years of hard work, I had my very first short story pubbed this year (with Total-E-Bound!!). I've learned the joys and tears of submssions, rejections, revisions, edits, and the hallowed day - RELEASE DAY!!!

What I've written about is probably what got me into the Naughty List. Instead of keeping them in a tight little box, I let my characters roam and decide what they want to do--or how sexy they want to be. It seems to be working well, so far.

And then there's the mention of using DH for research purposes. That right there is naughty enough for the naughty list. Somehow, he doesn't seem to mind. He hunts me down for extra research. **Giggle** It's so much fun, too!

Which list are you on? I'd love some company. Maybe we can swap "how I got here" stories.

Want to read one of the books that got me onto the Naughty List?

Here's the blurb for You'll Think of Me:

The man of her dreams finally came home from the war, but is he still the man she remembers or have his demons changed him forever?

Melanie Roberts loved her best friend more than she could ever imagine, and for longer than she wants to admit. Though once lovers, she's resigned herself to being no more than his best friend and roommate. On the eve of his return from deployment in Iraq, in order to keep her heart from breaking, she decides she's moving on—after one last sexy night.

Cade Nicholson has come to a decision. As he comes home damaged in both body and soul from his latest deployment, all he wants is to find comfort in Melanie's arms. Unsure and unsteady in expressing his love to the only woman to hold his heart, he has to find a way to convince her of his true feelings.

Can two best friends overcome their demons to prove their love for one another before past decisions come back to haunt them and it’s too late?

Merry Christmas and Have a Safe and Happy New Year filled with steamy reads!

Hi, Wendy. I'm afraid I was struck off the Good List years ago...I don't think I'll ever make it back now ;).

Here's to a 2011 full of success and lots more 'research' for you!

I'm beginning to think I was never really on the "good list" either and yet, it doesn't bother me much. Funny how that works. :)

Here's to a 2011 full of sucess for the both of us and all TEB authors!!!

I'm Jewish. So I don't believe in Santa. Thus, I can be as naughty as I like with no repercussions...!

Congratulations on your success this year, Wendi!
